JAWAN KOO is one of the foremost composers for film and multimedia based in South Korea. After obtaining his Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring at Berklee in 2007, JAWAN has written music for films, TV shows, commercials, Korean dramas, animations, and more. JAWAN’s creative and unique approach to create immersive, heart-pounding, sensorial and captivating soundtracks inspire the audiences and enhance the storytelling and narratives of the film with various styles of music.  

In the year 2011, he started his music production company, 
ON THE TRACK STUDIO(www.onthetrackstudio.com), and he has garnered attention as a composer and music producer.   

 JAWAN KOO created original scores for The Villainess (2017) which had its world premier at the 70th Cannes Film Festival, and the music received praises for its unique and creative style of music.   JAWAN’s original score was nominated for the best music for I Have a Date with Spring (2017) at the Wildflower Film Awards Korea.  He has written original music for an award-winning advertisement of 2018 Korea Advertising Awards.
